Before she ventured into the world of philanthropy, Selina Parker attended the world's largest nutrition school, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. With a passion for nutrition, fitness, natural health and chemical free alternatives, Selina is on a mission to share her knowledge with other socially conscious women and help them live a holistically healthy lifestyle.
As a Certified Holistic Health Coach and social entrepreneur, Selina knew she wanted to work in a career that would allow her to encourage and inspire others to live a life of freedom, joy, peace, wellness, and prosperity. She became a Certified Christian Life Coach in 2011, after training with the Professional Christian Coaching and Counseling Association.
With a strong family history of breast cancer that goes back 3 generations, Selina has always been committed to encouraging women to take a holistic approach to health and wellness. After her mother’s second diagnosis of Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) , she immediately knew in her heart that this diagnosis came with a greater calling. Two days later, Daughters Against Breast Cancer, Inc. was born. Selina's personal commitment to breast cancer patients, survivors, and their daughters is to help them achieve optimal wellness and live a life free of disease and illness.
Daughters Against Breast Cancer, headquartered in Dallas, is on a mission to help women of all ages who have a family history of breast cancer become the healthiest versions of themselves. The organization offers free and low-cost programs, mammogram assistance, and holistic wellness education to help women nationwide reduce their risk of breast cancer. Visit the Daughters Against Breast Cancer website to learn more and find out how you can get involved.
When Selina isn't coaching or putting her holistic living knowledge to use, she can be found reading inspirational books, taking enrichment courses, listening to good music, and spending time with family and close friends. Learn more about her life coaching services on her website.
